Description

Rome is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and is known as the eternal city of excellence. Grab a pair of comfy shoes and get ready for an eight-hour walking trip of the city’s history with a knowledgeable guide, which covers the spectacular and vast Vatican Museums, one of the biggest and most fascinating museum complexes in the world.

This journey will allow you the chance to visit the Sistine Chapel, where you can find and admire Michelangelo’s masterpiece in all its majesty splendor, the Vatican Museums, which have over 2000 rooms and some of the most spectacular artworks in the world, as well as
St. Peter’s Basilica. Cross St. Peter’s Square as you leave the Basilica to take in the impressive façade and its regal colonnade.

The Colosseum is another destination on the tour. The landmark that is well-known worldwide. It was used for spectacles featuring gladiator battles and wild animal hunting themes. Wander onward to one of the most famous ancient monuments in the world, the Roman Forum. Then spend some time exploring the Palatine. You will travel through the ruins of a magnificent kingdom.

Some parts might not be accessible and are subject to unexpected closures until further notice due site’s restrictions
During religious holidays or Wednesday morning (Papal Audience) the tour will only include an external guided tour of the Basilica
Wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees if your clothing does not comply with the rules, you may be denied entry
All guests must undergo airport-style security
During high season, the wait may be up to 30 minutes
Photography is not allowed in the interior of the Sistine Chapel and some parts. The staff are authorized to delete any files taken
Food and drinks are not allowed, with the exception of water
Bags and suitcases larger than 40x35x15 cm, tripods, large umbrellas and potentially dangerous objects are not allowed inside the Vatican Museums and must be left in the cloakroom. The cloakroom is a 20-minute walk from the end of the tour
